Remote Work

When a team works in an office, it keeps pace. But as soon as it moves to a remote format, motivation can fall rapidly, and the threat of burnout and depression can grow.

One of the essential aspects of continued team spirit is corporate culture.  It rallies the team, unites it gives a feeling of being part of the brand, its products, services and customers.

It is necessary to maintain the same schedule and rhythm as if it was in the office until the remote schedule takes over.

There is a list of recommended tools to be used to ease and maintain the communication, especially with time zones difference when asynchronous collaboration is needed.

The best combination of instruments and software is selected on a per-project basis by experienced in managing remote teams Project Manager and DevOps.

Risk Management

Risk Management Framework is a process that is implemented on the company or project level to have the ability to count the risks into Project Plan. Risk management of a project is crucial.

Eighty-three percent of organizations that are high performers in project management practice risk management frequently, while just 49 percent of low performers do so. The practice contributes to a handsome payoff: high performers meet their goals 2.5 times more often and waste 13 times less money than low performers, as found by our 2015 Pulse of the Profession® report.

There are many risk management strategies, but in the end, here is what needs to be done.
Risks Identification: Identify risks that may interfere with project objectives.
The purpose of this step is to identify a number of unknown project risks. We believe that there are infinitely many potential problems around us, we will pose the problem quantitatively.
As a result, we have all identified risks in the format “cause-risk-effect”.

Risks Analysis: Determine which of the identified risks are the most dangerous.
The purpose of this stage is to identify the most important of them. For each risk, we evaluate its Probability and Consequences on a ten-point scale. Multiplying them, we get the Importance. We also denote a precise boundary of Importance to understand which risks are critical and continue to work only with them.

Risk Management Plan: Plan the most dangerous risks.
For each risk, from the critical list, it is necessary to come up with a strategy to manage the risks. There are three generally used strategies: transfer risk, accept the risk, or mitigate the risk.

Monitoring and control the risk management: Keep the project plan and risk list up to date.

  • lack of engagement

  • insufficient participation in the discussions

  • lack of cooperation between departments

  • lack of trust between team members.

How to fix it? Make people communicate.
